Retention is perhaps the most significant phase of the Integrated Strategy and also the one that’s most often ignored. You can’t forget your customers once the deal is signed or the sale is made. Retention requires that you build personal relationships in order to grow brand loyalty. This is done through personalized engagement with the customer through tactics like referral and repeat purchase programs. These can come in the form of emails, social media, surveys, exclusive contests and direct mail.
